The Greater Washington Fashion Chamber of Commerce (GWFCC) is pleased to announce that it will celebrate "DC FASHION AWARENESS MONTH" during the month of May.
The purpose of DC Fashion Awareness Month is to foster awareness and generate support for all aspects of the local fashion industry.
Throughout the month of May, GWFCC will be hosting events that aim to unite and educate the local fashion industry about the possibilities that exist for a vibrant fashion-driven economy in Washington, DC.

In partnership with the DC Department of Small and Local Business Development (DSLBD), GWFCC will be holding Fashion Census Focus Groups. The purpose of the focus groups is to obtain feedback and suggestions regarding GWFCC's draft Comprehensive Fashion Action Plan. Participants have their choice in focus groups being offered:
- 11:00am-1:30pm
- 6:00-8:30pm.
Come share your thoughts, opinions, ideas and suggestions about what will make Fashion work in Washington, DC.
All participants MUST RSVP by May 11th. Please RSVP only if you are sure that you can participate.
